8/19/16 Cedar Creek Lake Texas Fishing Report with DallasFishingCharters.com

We've had lots of rain and the temps are 10-15 degrees cooler than normal for this time of year. It's made getting out on the water much cooler and very enjoyable. Our white bass and hybrids are stacking up nicely on main lake points and humps. Slabs and spoons have been the bait of choice. Big numbers of fish with full fish boxes have been the norm this month. Crappie will be moving into there fall pattern at any point now. We've noticed they have been showing up some on brush tops. I expect over the next week or two that they will begin biting better as the water cools off. We've noticed that the crappie and white bass are already beginning to grow eggs for the spring spawn. That's pretty normal for this time of year. As fall approaches they will continue to feed even more for the upcoming winter. Book now for fall, come enjoy our lower rates and bring the family out.
